Admission Pathway

•Design and Technology is a concentration inside the Theatre major

•Applicants interested in more than one specialization do not need to choose a concentration for the scholarship audition/interview

Important Notes

•Talent scholarship auditions/interviews should be completed by the application date and no later than March 1

•Students are eligible for one talent scholarship; additional talent awards may be honorary

Audition Process

•No published Design and Technology admission audition or prescreen is required beyond Lycoming's university application

•Design/Technical Theatre talent-scholarship candidates bring creative-work examples and discuss interests and goals

Audition Expectations

•Bring a resume or list of production experiences

•Include examples of creative work

•When possible, auditions/interviews are held in person during Theatre Scholarship Days at November and February Open Houses

Theatre Scholarship

•Theatre talent scholarships are up to $3,000 per year

•Design/Technical Theatre applicants may interview for scholarship consideration; the scholarship interview is not required for admission

•Auditions/interviews should be completed by the relevant application date and no later than March 1
