Admission Process
•Audition on your primary instrument or voice, plus a required interview
•In-person on campus during scheduled audition days, or by recorded video via the myLSU application portal
•Recommended to film recorded auditions as one take (single video)
•Recorded auditions given equal consideration after in-person dates pass
Music Therapy Interview
•Discuss your interest in the music therapy field and in pursuing this degree
•Describe any experiences volunteering with communities served by music therapy
•Demonstrate your ability to sing and transpose a well-known song selected by the Music Therapy faculty
