•Prepares scenic technicians with a working knowledge of the craft and the technologies of the profession
•Required core of Introduction to Stage Craft plus Applied Stage Management and Production I and II
•Electives include theatrical lighting, scenic painting, sound design fundamentals, scenic design, advanced stage craft, and design for theater, film, and TV
•Cutting-edge technologies are taught on state-of-the-art equipment
Performance & Productions
•Classroom study is combined with work on the department play production schedule
•Faculty work alongside students interested in the disciplines and craft of the stage technician
•Students serve as technical crew, designer's assistant, designer, or crew head on a fully produced theater event
