One classical and one contemporary, OR one dramatic and one comedic

Application Logistics

No application fee to LACC Theatre Academy

Enrollment

If accepted to the Academy, must also apply to Los Angeles City College

Full-time commitment required — block program of classes

No night or Saturday classes in the Theatre Academy program

Certificate of Achievement — general education requirements for the associate degree are taken outside the Theatre Academy program

Admission Pathway

Pass TA 200 (Introduction to Acting) to enter the conservatory the following semester

Day and night classes available for TA 200

Faculty evaluate your submission and email follow-up information

Audition Expectations

If invited, prepare two contrasting monologues for in-person audition
