No application fee to LACC Theatre Academy

Enrollment

Certificate program — an associate degree is not required

No theatre background required to apply

If accepted to the Academy, must also apply to Los Angeles City College

Important Notes

Acceptance into the program is not a guarantee of continuance

Students are evaluated from the initial interview and portfolio review onward

A student who cannot meet assignments while in constant production may be discontinued

Periodic evaluations are retained as source material for future education and employment references
