Optional prescreen video: submit through Acceptd (app.getacceptd.com/liu) — $35 submission fee; skipping carries no penalty

Schedule a live audition (in-person or virtual) — see audition notes

Auditions also held at National Unified Audition sites across the U.S.

Walk-in auditions accepted at Unified sites, time permitting

Eligibility

Incoming freshmen must have a minimum 3.0 GPA

Transfer students must have 24+ college credits with a minimum 2.0 college GPA

All BFA candidates must maintain a 3.0 GPA in the major

What's The Process

Audition Process

Apply to LIU Post before scheduling an audition

All auditions are by appointment

Audition on campus, live via Zoom, at New York or Chicago Unifieds, or at a regional location

Walk-ins at National Unified Auditions are accepted as time permits

Be prepared to workshop your material with faculty

Dance callback instructions are emailed after an on-campus or virtual audition

New York and Chicago dance callbacks are by invitation from the audition room; a virtual dance-reel option is available if needed

Decisions

Admission requires both an LIU application and an audition

Decisions are released on a rolling basis
