Audition Format
•One-day audition in two stages
•Morning: three assessed technique classes (ballet, contemporary, jazz)
•Afternoon: workshop your song and monologue with the audition panel
•Optional dance solo may also be performed
Video Audition Alternative
•Available for applicants unable to attend in person
•Brief statement to camera about training and why you want to train at LSC (max 1 minute)
•Perform your musical theatre song (max 2 minutes)
•Perform your contemporary monologue (max 2 minutes)
•Video must include all dance elements from the provided sequences
•Submit via application portal: upload mp4/mov/avi or provide YouTube/Vimeo URL
Timeline
•Auditions run December to April of the year of entry
•Application must be received at least 7 days before audition date
•Outcome communicated via email
•Successful applicants pay GBP 500 registration deposit to secure their place
