ONE DANCE PROFICIENCY VIDEO, 2 min max
•Your performance can be in any style that best showcases your unique talents and skills
•No compilations
EVALUATION CRITERIA
•Coordination, strength, musicality and/or phrasing, and performance quality
Additional Materials
•Video response to question: Please introduce yourself, share your dance goals and aspirations, and why LMU Dance is the right program to help you develop as a dance artist (3 minutes max)

APPLICATION PROCESS
•Dance must be listed as your first-choice major to be considered for admission
•Apply via Common App, LMU Online App, or Coalition App
•Video submissions uploaded through LMU Application Status Portal after application is submitted

•Entire audition submitted online — no need to come on campus or schedule interview
•Access to LMU Application Status Portal provided after university application submission

•Students welcome from diversity of dance backgrounds and training
•Students interested in adding dance as second major or changing major will audition in fall semester
Scholarship Info
•Departmental scholarships are available to current LMU Dance students after their first semester, on a highly selective basis
