Two 16-BAR Audition Cuts

Prepare two 16-bar cuts of musical theatre songs that show your range

Bring sheet music marked and ready for the accompanist

Must sing to musical accompaniment — accompanist provided on campus

One Monologue

Prepare one monologue to perform at the audition

Dance

Dance Call

Dance call begins at 9:15 AM on audition day

Jazz shoes recommended if available; tennis shoes acceptable

Combination taught by faculty — demonstrates movement ability

Audition Expectations

Three parts: singing, acting, and dancing

Dance call at 9:15 AM, followed by individual song/monologue audition and interview

Must demonstrate potential in all three performance areas

Digital auditions accepted via email to the Department of Theatre

Equal consideration for virtual and in-person auditions
