•The college is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music.
Transfer Pathway
•The two-year Music transfer AA is the flexible Oregon option: unlike LBCC’s Oregon State–specific AS pathways, it is designed for transfer to a music program at any university in the state.
•Students work with an advisor to choose courses that fit the requirements of their intended destination.
Training
•LBCC supports the pathway with individual lessons across voice, keyboards, guitar, winds, brass, percussion and strings, plus the common musical knowledge used to discuss and perform music professionally.
Performance & Productions
•Instrumental and vocal ensembles include students from across the college and provide collaborative performance experience before transfer.
