Training
•The 38-credit Theatre major combines academic study with hands-on production experience across performance, design, technical theatre, history, and dramatic literature.
•The department’s annual production program includes four productions in the 300-seat Diamond Theater and multiple lab productions.
Facilities
•The Diamond Theater is a thrust theater in Zoellner Arts Center, and the Fowler Black Box Theater supports student and faculty experimentation.
•Student actors work in faculty- and guest-artist-directed productions; professional performers and ensembles also visit the department.
Degree Flexibility
•The flexible BA supports interdisciplinary study and double majors. Qualified students can pursue performance or administrative internships with faculty mentorship, and exceptional students may direct or design under faculty supervision.
