Application Logistics
•Bullet: Applications for September 2027 entry are made via UCAS Conservatoires (UCAS Institution Code: L31) or the Leeds Conservatoire direct application form; Leeds says direct applications for 2027 will open soon
•Bullet: UCAS Course Code: W44F (MA Dramaturgy, one year full-time)
•Bullet: You must formally apply first: after Leeds processes your application you receive a Leeds Conservatoire ID Number, and if you meet or are on track to meet the entry requirements you are invited to submit your audition materials through Acceptd
•Bullet: If you apply for more than one MA at Leeds, repeat the Acceptd process and submit materials separately for each course
•Bullet: Leeds assesses applications by hand, so it may take longer to respond than other institutions; if you have not heard back after a month, email admissions@lcm.ac.uk
•Bullet: International applicants are advised to submit their applications by 30 May 2027 to allow time for visa processing
Eligibility
•Bullet: A good honours degree in any subject, with a 2nd (2:2) classification or equivalent, usually theatre, music or theatre/music-related, but qualifications in other fields will also be reviewed and considered
•Bullet: Equivalent professional experience may also be accepted and reviewed at application and audition stages (see the conservatoire's APEL process)
•Bullet: All students requiring a visa to study in the UK must meet the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) department's English Language requirement of IELTS 6.0 with no sub-test less than 5.5

•Bullet: Leeds Conservatoire does not charge audition fees for undergraduate or postgraduate courses
•Bullet: UK residents from lower-income households (income less than £25,000) or Global Majority backgrounds can apply for a refund of travel costs to in-person auditions
