Audition Process
•Bullet: Upload audition materials via Acceptd after receiving your Leeds Conservatoire ID Number
•Bullet: Invitation to submit is sent after UCAS application is processed
•Bullet: Optional fourth video: this might be, for example, composition, dance, singing, spoken word or self-authored work that is central to your creative practice
•Bullet: Materials assessed by a panel
•Bullet: Successful applicants invited to Round 2 recall
•Bullet: Full-day event including group workshop, solo audition, interview, and campus tour
•Bullet: UK applicants attend in person at Leeds
•Bullet: International applicants upload video portfolio via Acceptd
•Bullet: Group workshop: creative ensemble activities for actor musicians
•Bullet: Solo audition: perform a second contrasting monologue and a second contrasting instrument piece
•Bullet: Interview: questions about your interest, experience, and knowledge of acting
•Bullet: Decision communicated via UCAS: offer, waiting list, or rejection
Audition Expectations
•Bullet: International video portfolio (applicants outside the UK)
◦Sub-bullet: Second monologue (max 2 minutes) that contrasts with the original submission
◦Sub-bullet: Second musical piece (max 4 minutes) that contrasts with the original submission, on a secondary instrument or the same instrument in a different style
◦Sub-bullet: Interview may be scheduled with a senior member of the School of Drama team, depending on the outcome of the video portfolio
