Training
•The 15-credit minor includes nine classroom credits and six credits of applied lessons or ensembles
•Students study music history and theory, choose an additional classroom elective, take private lessons, and participate in a choral or instrumental ensemble
•Private instruction and ensemble work complement academic study of musical structure and history
•Course-placement auditions may be used for particular ensembles but are not admission auditions for the minor

•Performance options include Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Rock Ensemble, Jazzuits, Le Moyne College Singers, Chamber Singers, and Pep Band
•Ensemble offerings span classical, jazz, rock, vocal, and contemporary traditions
