•Prepare a solo in any dance style lasting one to two minutes

Live Combination

•Participate in a ballet warm-up and learn a modern, contemporary, or jazz combination during the scholarship audition

•Prospective students may apply through the Le Moyne Application, Common App, or Coalition Application powered by Scoir

•The dance minor can be paired with any undergraduate major and develops technique, choreography, performance, and contextual knowledge

What's The Process

Audition Process

•Applicants should have at least two years of high-quality dance training

•Perform the prepared solo, then speak with faculty about dance background and goals

•Wear dance clothing that permits free movement and bring appropriate footwear for the prepared style and ballet warm-up

Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship

•Dance minors with at least two years of high-quality training may compete for Le Moyne's annual full-tuition Visual and Performing Arts scholarship

•Applicants must first be accepted to Le Moyne

Dance Review

•The live review includes a prepared solo, a conversation with faculty about goals, a ballet warm-up, and a modern, contemporary, or jazz combination taught at the audition
