•Bullet: Students select two of four List A electives (6 units): Theater for Young Audiences, Drama Workshop - Beginning, Musical Theater Workshop - Beginning, or Performance in Production: Introduction to Live Performance
•Bullet: Catalog Program Learning Outcomes require students to "develop an understanding of the role of a character within the context of a play and create a unique character portrayal in emotional, physical, and vocal life" and to "examine and perform within major genres of theater from world theatrical history"
Facilities
•Bullet: Coursework and production casting take place in LPC's Performing Arts Center: a 450-seat proscenium, black box theater, and outdoor amphitheater seating over 1,000
•Bullet: Dedicated costume shop, scene shop, and rehearsal studio support production work
Degree Flexibility
•Bullet: 18-unit Certificate of Achievement, per the current college catalog's Acting Certificate of Achievement requirements, designed as the department's recommended Year One credential in its Performance track
