•Bullet: Talent-based scholarship available to both majors and non-majors
•Bullet: Must be admitted to Lake Forest College to apply
Audition Requirements
•Bullet: Two short monologues: one classic (e.g., Shakespeare) and one contemporary
•Bullet: Song and/or dance optional but not required
•Bullet: Preface monologues with context about the play, scene, and characters
•Bullet: Can be submitted via video or completed in person
Application Questions
•Bullet: List theater classes taken and involvement in theater (show title, year, role)
•Bullet: Short essays on why theater matters to you and to society
Deadlines
•Bullet: First-year students: March 1 (application and portfolio)
•Bullet: Fall transfer students: June 1 (application), July 1 (portfolio)
•Bullet: Spring transfer students: December 10 (application and portfolio)
Renewal Requirements
•Bullet: Enroll in at least one theater course per academic year
•Bullet: Participate in two department productions per year (one per semester)
•Bullet: Maintain minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
•Bullet: Meet with Director of Theater during first week of classes each semester
