Songs
TWO CONTRASTING MUSICAL THEATRE SONGS, under 1 min 30 sec each
•One lyrical and one up-tempo recommended
•One or both may be heard at audition
•Prepare the full song AND clearly mark a 16-24 bar section
-Only a section of your song may be heard
ACCOMPANIMENT
•Sheet music for piano must be provided
•Pages must be taped together so they sit side by side on the piano
•Backing tracks are NOT accepted
Monologues
ONE MONOLOGUE FROM SET LIST
•Choose from the college's provided list of monologue options
•You may play a role which differs from your own gender
•Perform in your natural accent
Dance
MODERN DANCE SOLO, 90 sec max
•Jazz, lyrical, contemporary, or commercial style
•Bring accompaniment on CD or iPhone/iPod
JAZZ CLASS
•Warm-up, corner sequences, and routines
•Attire: leotard and tights, unitard, or vest and track bottoms
•Bare feet OR jazz shoes — NOT trainers or boots
Ballet
BALLET CLASS
•Barre, centre work, and corner work
•Attire: leotard and tights OR unitard, ballet shoes
•No pointe shoes required

APPLICATION PROCESS
•Apply online via the college's application portal
•£45 audition fee (fee waivers available through Supported Admissions Scheme)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS — BA (HONS)
•Age: 18+
•Minimum 80 UCAS points (A-Levels, BTECs, Scottish Highers, IB, or equivalent)
•GCSE English Grade C/4 or above
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS — LEVEL 6 DIPLOMA
•Age: 16+
•Admission by audition only — no previous qualifications required
ADDITIONAL COURSES
•1-year BA (Hons) Top-Up available for students with Level 5 diploma
•1-year Foundation Diploma available as a preparatory course
-Applicants not at entry standard for the 3-year course may be offered Foundation
ELIGIBILITY
•September enrollment only
•Currently unable to sponsor visa applicants
-Must hold British passport, dual citizenship, Irish residency, or settled status
What's The Process
AUDITION DAY FORMAT
•Auditions take place in-person at the college in Epsom
•In exceptional circumstances, online audition may be arranged
•Parents/guardians invited to a talk, Q&A, and campus tour
AUDITION COMPONENTS
•Three group classes: Ballet, Jazz, and Acting Workshop
•Individual performance: interview, monologue, dance solo, and songs
•Comfortable clothing with trainers/pumps for acting workshop
OUTCOME
•Results posted within approximately two weeks
•Possible outcomes: unconditional offer, conditional offer, waiting list, or unsuccessful
•Applicants for the 3-year course who show potential but are not at entry standard may be offered the 1-year Foundation Course

•Government-funded scholarships for eligible Diploma students

•Allocated to the most talented students until funds exhausted
•Confirmed in late spring
