•Bullet: Bachelor of Music in Film & Media Scoring, LaGrange's newest music degree, trains students in composition, orchestration, arranging, music technology, synchronization, and digital production for scoring to picture
•Bullet: Dedicated coursework includes Film & Media Scoring I and II (MUSI 2503/2504), covering original scoring for film, television, video games, and podcasts using digital audio workstations, virtual instruments, and sample libraries
•Bullet: Founding faculty member Michael Stein, Associate Professor of Music, holds a BFA in jazz piano performance from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, an MA in classical composition from the Manhattan School of Music, and a PhD in composition with a specialty in visual media from UCLA
•Bullet: Stein has scored more than 65 film and television projects and has won Best Original Score/Best Score honors at multiple film festivals (Vitara International Film Festival, World Cinema Awards, Snow Leopard International Film Festival)
Professional Development
•Bullet: Film scoring is inherently collaborative: students work with LaGrange's Film & Media Arts majors, performers, producers, theatre students, and other artists
•Bullet: Graduates enter the field as composers, producers, and media-music professionals for film, television, video game, and podcast studios

•Bullet: The West Side building houses a live recording studio and control room, a TV studio, production suites, and a Music Theory Lab with computer workstations
•Bullet: The 740-seat Callaway Auditorium, home to the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra, and the 150-seat Beason Recital Hall provide performance venues for student work
