Transfer Pathway

For BM Songwriting, LACM evaluates eligible transfer general-education credits from official transcripts; IGETC coursework may transfer for domestic students, up to 35 required general-education credits. New transfer students do not directly transfer music credits except through affiliate articulation agreements, but may earn credit through LACM proficiency testing.
