•Bullet: Curriculum spans choreography, dance history, kinesiology, Labanotation and screendance
•Bullet: Dance Labanotation develops movement-reading and notation skills; course work may meet Dance Notation Bureau standards for beginning certification

Performance & Productions

Professional Development
•Bullet: Senior majors develop a major creative or scholarly project with faculty guidance
•Bullet: The capstone includes an oral discussion of the project and a six-hour written examination
•Bullet: Distinction is based on performance across the project, oral discussion and written examination
Degree Flexibility
•Bullet: Up to two approved off-campus-study courses may count toward the major
•Bullet: Select theater-arts courses may count with the required prerequisites or instructor permission
•Bullet: Screendance and Union of Music and Dance provide interdisciplinary options
•Bullet: Kenyon L.A. is a selective two-week program for rising juniors and seniors combining screenwriting with entertainment-industry career exploration
