Training
•Bullet: The minor requires a minimum of 18 hours, with 12 of those hours numbered 300 and above: THR 101 Theatre Practicum I (1 hour), THR 106 Acting I (3 hours), one of THR 216/220/224 Scenic, Costume, or Lighting Production (2 hours), THR 308 Script Analysis (3 hours), and 9 hours of 300+ level theatre electives
•Bullet: Minimum 9 hours of KU resident credit and a 2.0 GPA in all departmental courses numbered 300 and above
•Bullet: The department serves non-majors "interested in acting, drama, design, theatre history, and technical theatre"
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Minor students "are welcome to audition for department productions and serve on backstage technical crews" once enrolled in THR 101, THR 201, THR 301, or THR 401, putting them on the same production pipeline as Theatre majors
