Audition Process
•A successful audition is required for admission to the School of Music as a major or minor
•For Fall 2026, scheduled live audition days and the May 15 voice audition priority deadline have passed
•Voice students will have the opportunity to audition at the beginning of the Fall 2026 semester
•Fall 2027 live audition days are posted for November 14, February 13, and February 20 for voice-eligible applicants
•KU application must be complete before audition registration
Audition Expectations
•Attend a live audition or submit a video using virtual audition instructions provided by email
•Contact musicauditions@ku.edu to coordinate an alternate live campus audition when available
•Virtual auditions can be arranged through the audition form or by contacting musicauditions@ku.edu
