Audition Requirements

Songs

TWO MEMORIZED SELECTIONS IN CONTRASTING STYLES

At least one selection must be classical
A foreign language piece is not required
All music must be performed with piano accompaniment — no a cappella

ACCOMPANIMENT

An accompanist will be provided, but you may bring your own
If using the provided accompanist, sheet music must be in a 3-ring binder
Music must be easy to read, double-sided score
Pages may be copied back to back or taped together — no staples
No loose pages or plastic sleeve protectors
Alternatively, a printed score that opens easily and stays open on the music rack

March 1: Priority scholarship consideration
May 15: Voice audition priority deadline — voice auditions not accepted after this date
Students may audition at the beginning of the Fall semester if deadline is missed
