Prescreen Videos
•Bullet: Upload five videos, one for each required section, recorded separately and in the order listed; additional videos are not accepted or reviewed
•Bullet: Section One, Introduction: a brief close-up shot of your face, from the shoulders up; clearly state your full name and current city and country of residence, give a brief history of your previous dance training, and tell why you have been inspired to audition
•Bullet: Section Two, Performance: a prepared solo, either ballet, modern or contemporary, to musical accompaniment, approximately two minutes in length; state the title of the solo, the choreographer, and the composer of the music before performing
•Bullet: Section Three, Ballet Technique - Center Exercises: tendu in the center combination with a pirouette, adagio in the center, pirouette that moves across the floor, petite allegro combination, and grand allegro combination, on the right and left sides, as demonstrated in the Juilliard demonstration video
•Bullet: Section Four, Modern Technique: the modern combination as demonstrated, recorded on the right and then on the left
•Bullet: Section Five, Choreography and Improvisation: the provided dance phrase and an improvisation built from three of its gestures, submitted as one continuous take with no edits: the improvisation first (the first 30 seconds of the track), then the dance phrase
•Bullet: Pointe work is not required
