Peabody application fee is $120; fee-waiver requests may be emailed to Peabody Admissions

Spring Admission is available to BFA Dance on a case-by-case basis

Spring 2027 application and recorded audition: November 1, 2026

Early Decision application: November 1, 2026; recorded audition: December 1, 2026

Regular Decision application: December 1, 2026; recorded audition: February 1, 2027

Late Admission application: May 1, 2027; recorded audition: May 10, 2027

Admission Pathway

Double Degree applicants must also apply to Johns Hopkins through Common App or Coalition App

What's The Process

Audition Process

Dance has no prescreening requirement

Applicants may complete a live on-campus audition or, when eligible, submit a recorded audition

In-person auditions are strongly recommended

Recorded-audition applicants receive decisions with the regular admission cycle

Audition Expectations

The live Dance audition spans a master class and ensemble concert followed by a group audition and prepared solo

Early Decision live auditions are held November 30, 2026; Regular Decision live auditions take place during Peabody's Audition Week, February 14-22, 2027 (Dance's specific day within the week is not yet announced); Late Admission live auditions are held during jury week, May 17-21, 2027

Recording

Recordings must be video and performed without editing
