Improvisation exercise to demonstrate creative and analytical skills

Then audition for admission into the BA Dance degree program

Rolling university admissions

Eligibility

International applicants must provide a completed Report on Proficiency in English form

TOEFL recommended but not required for international applicants

Transfer Pathway

BA Dance transfer applicants may bring regionally accredited coursework completed with a C or better; a completed AA generally satisfies JU's core curriculum. Admission to the Dance major still requires the live audition, and transfer applicants may also have a brief faculty interview.

Evaluated by two or three current faculty members

Regional, state, or national dance recruitment events where JU participates also count as in-person auditions
