Training
•The three-unit Dance Certificate draws from ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop, ballroom, advanced contemporary dance, and Broadway Dance Repertory.
•Certificate students select two units of technique and one unit of Dance Appreciation, Dance Composition, Choreography, or Kinesiology.
Performance & Productions
•Students are encouraged to audition for the mainstage Dance Concert and join the Student Choreographed Dance Concert organization.
Degree Flexibility
•The certificate offers a compact dance credential with less required breadth than the five-unit minor.
