Training
•Bullet: The three-unit Dance Certificate draws from ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop, ballroom, advanced contemporary dance, and Broadway Dance Repertory.
•Bullet: Certificate students select two units of technique and one unit of Dance Appreciation, Dance Composition, Choreography, or Kinesiology.
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Students are encouraged to audition for the mainstage Dance Concert and join the Student Choreographed Dance Concert organization.
Degree Flexibility
•Bullet: The certificate offers a compact dance credential with less required breadth than the five-unit minor.
