Training
•Seven course units of applied voice lessons extend from the first year through senior study, supported by four music-theory courses and music-history surveys.
•Voice-specific work includes English and Italian diction, German and French diction, Song Literature, Vocal Pedagogy, and two semesters of Opera Theatre.
Performance & Productions
•Vocal majors participate in large ensembles, attend six semesters of live concert repertoire, and complete both junior and senior recitals.
Degree Flexibility
•Upper-level choices include counterpoint, advanced analysis or orchestration plus advanced music-history study.
