Training
•Piano performers complete seven course units of applied lessons over four years, four theory courses, three history surveys, keyboard harmony, and conducting.
•Piano Pedagogy, Foundations and Principles of Music Education, and private-teaching study make pedagogy a defined part of the major.
Performance & Productions
•Chamber Music–Piano Ensemble, accompanying, and other appropriate ensembles support collaborative playing; at least one ensemble unit is in accompanying.
•The performance sequence culminates in junior and senior recitals.
