•Bullet: Scholarship audition material for brass and woodwind applicants: two contrasting selections, one lyrical and one technical
•Bullet: Music majors on brass or woodwind instruments also prepare a chromatic scale covering the full range of the instrument and all major scales
•Bullet: Jazz applicants may prepare a swing or latin-style jazz excerpt, optional improvisation over B-flat blues or another tune, and bass-line or comping demonstrations as applicable
•Bullet: Percussion applicants prepare 45-60 second solo or etude excerpts on as many of these instruments as possible: snare drum, timpani, keyboard percussion, and multiple percussion
•Bullet: Music-major percussionists demonstrate two snare drum excerpts, one rudimental and one orchestral, plus listed rudiments at controlled maximum tempo
•Bullet: Jazz percussion applicants prepare short timekeeping/fill examples in swing, jazz waltz, bossa nova, and funk, plus a jazz band excerpt
