PROGRAM OVERVIEW
•B.A. curriculum founded on belief that theatrical production and classroom study complement each other and are of equal value
•Theatre recognized as collaborative art form bringing together wide range of knowledge, talents, and skills

COURSEWORK & FLEXIBILITY
•Courses in acting, directing, dramatic literature, theatre history, playwriting, design, and theatre technology
•Many students pursue second majors alongside Theatre and Drama
•Strong foundation in study of drama as humanistic discipline and practice of theatre as art

•Approximately 200 students participate each year in the undergraduate program

•Located in Lee Norvelle Theatre and Drama Center with state-of-the-art performance spaces

•At least eight on-campus productions per year in three performance spaces: Ruth N. Halls Theatre (453 seats), Studio Theatre (60 seats), and Wells-Metz (246 seats)
•IU Summer Theatre offers paid positions for performers and technicians

COLLEGE MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS
•Incoming students directly admitted to College of Arts and Sciences may be eligible for merit-based scholarships
•Submit university application by November 1 for scholarship consideration
