School of Music Application
•Separate School of Music application required via the online form in addition to the university application
•Must be accepted unconditionally to Indiana State University prior to the audition
Audition Scheduling
•Monday auditions begin at 4pm; Saturday auditions run mid-morning to mid-afternoon with tours and presentations
•Auditions outside official dates may be arranged by contacting the School of Music office
•Virtual auditions available only if absolutely necessary
Program Teach-Out
•Indiana State will stop accepting new Music Performance majors after December 11, 2026
•Students who enroll for Fall 2026 may still declare the major before the semester ends on December 11, 2026
•The major will not be available to students entering Spring 2027 or later
