Audition Requirements

Songs

Two Original Songs

Prepare two original songs that show your ability to write chord progressions, lyrics, and vocal melodies

At least one must be performed live, accompanying yourself on guitar, keys, or a backing track you have created

The second can also be live, or a recording shared as a public link in your preparation folder

Add your lyrics as a PDF in the same folder

What's The Process

Audition Process

One-to-one session with a tutor; the tutor asks about the songs you present, how you created and developed them, and what you hope to achieve on the course

Complete the application form first so ICMP can make a formal offer after the session

Audition Expectations

Set up one folder (Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive) with sharing set to public; add backing tracks as clickable links and your lyrics as a PDF

Folders are for your preparation; there is no need to send them in advance

Bring your own headphones if you would like to hear yourself while you play
