Training
•Annual week-long residency with Shakespeare and Company of Lenox, Massachusetts, featuring workshops led by professional actors
•Students perform a variety of on-stage and backstage roles through practicum courses and student productions
•Recent productions include Passion Play, Dog Sees God, Noises Off, Hamlet, and Bus Stop
•Students may also stage and direct one-act plays
•63-credit Associate in Science degree with core courses in acting, technical theatre, theatre history, and production
•Theatre elective options include improvisational theatre, stage management, and theatrical design
•Broad liberal arts foundation with electives in psychology, history, literature, and communications

•Home of the Maureen Stapleton Theatre, named after Academy Award-winning actor Maureen Stapleton, a Troy, NY native •Located in the Siek Campus Center, the theatre hosts all program productions and major cultural events
Degree Flexibility
•Primarily a transfer program preparing students for bachelor's degree programs at four-year institutions
•Strong liberal arts and sciences foundation supports seamless transfer to BFA and BA programs
