Distinguished Artist Award (Daa)
•Bullet: $3,000 per year ($12,000 over four years)
•Bullet: Up to 60 DAA scholarships awarded annually across art, dance, music, theatre, and creative writing
•Bullet: Open to incoming first-year and transfer students
•Bullet: Recipients must major or minor in theatre
Performance Audition
•Bullet: Two contrasting monologues, each no more than 2 minutes
•Bullet: One monologue may be replaced with or supplemented by a song (max 1 minute/16 bars)
•Bullet: Accompanist provided on DAA Day; alternate dates require recorded accompaniment
•Bullet: Total audition should be no more than 5 minutes
Design/Tech/Stage Management
•Bullet: Portfolio presentation with designs, art work, production photos, prompt books
Interview
•Bullet: All candidates have an interview with theatre faculty
•Bullet: All candidates must have visited campus prior to DAA Day
