What's The Process

ADMISSION

No audition required for admission to the BA Dance Performance and Choreography major
Students are admitted through the standard university application process

SCHOLARSHIP AUDITION

Distinguished Artist Award (DAA) scholarship audition is optional — not required for admission
Video-only submission (no in-person audition)
Must apply to Hope College and submit scholarship audition application simultaneously
Dance Day on campus provides opportunity to experience master classes and performances

DISTINGUISHED ARTIST AWARD (DAA)

$3,000 per year ($12,000 over four years)
$48,000 distributed annually across all dance DAA recipients
Open to incoming first-year and transfer students

REQUIREMENTS

Must maintain 2.6 GPA
Enroll in minimum two dance classes per semester
Participate in at least one dance performance annually
Major/minor requirement is waived for DAA recipients
