•Classical liberal arts approach integrates theatre with history, philosophy, psychology, and other disciplines
•Academically rigorous program challenges students to make connections between theatre and the broader humanities
•Senior capstone project in a chosen area of specialization (acting, directing, design, playwriting, or choreography)
•All majors must work backstage on at least two Department productions
Performance & Productions
•Tower Players produce 3 mainstage productions per year plus one-act and workshop productions
•Open to all students regardless of major
•Productions have traveled to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland
•Annual trip to the Stratford Festival in Ontario, Canada
Professional Development
•Alpha Psi Omega national theatre honor society chapter
•Department hosts visiting artists for workshops and performances
