What's The Process

Audition Process

No audition is required for admission to the BA Theatre Arts major

Admission is through the general Hendrix College application

Optional talent scholarship audition available for high school seniors

The audition is a cold reading performed with a current Hendrix student

No preparation is needed

A portfolio is not required

Audition scheduling provided after submitting the scholarship application

Must have completed application for admission before auditioning

Scholarship Details

Performing and Fine Arts Scholarships provide $2,000 per year and are open to non-majors

Performance and non-performance theatre applicants are encouraged to apply

Application

Submit the extracurricular scholarship application by February 1 and complete the scholarship audition by March 12

The teacher should send the recommendation directly to the Hendrix Office of Admission or Department of Theatre Arts and Dance
