Audition Process
•Admission to the BA Music program is through Henderson State's undergraduate application; a music audition is optional and used for performance-scholarship consideration.
•All Henderson State students, including music and non-music majors, may audition for a talent-based performance scholarship.
•Select the scholarship-audition area that fits your background: instrumental/band, vocal/choral, or keyboard. Requirements and preparation differ by area.
Audition Expectations
•In-person and virtual scholarship-audition options are available; availability and preparation details depend on the selected scholarship area.
Post-Enrollment
•Prospective music majors complete a music-theory and aural-skills diagnostic for course placement. It does not affect scholarship eligibility or award amount.
