3-5 professional guest artists per year through the Manning Theatre Endowment

Audition required for all students planning to major in theatre
Non-majors encouraged to audition for participation awards

What's The Process

AUDITION FORMAT

Three parts: prepared songs and monologue, interview with faculty, and assessment of musical background
Live audition strongly preferred; video audition available if campus visit causes undue difficulty
Optional dance video may be submitted for additional consideration

CANDIDACY PATHWAY

Students may defer their audition to the end of their first year
Work with faculty during first year to identify strengths and develop skills
