Application Logistics

Upload all interview materials through the UHart Applicant Portal — no Acceptd submission required

Hartt Early Action is available for this program; submit the Hartt application by Nov. 1 and all application materials by Nov. 15

University application review begins on a rolling basis in late September; Hartt applications submitted after Feb. 15 are considered only as space allows

Early Action is optional for this program. Regular Decision applicants also receive portal and audition/interview registration instructions after submitting the UHart application.

Submit the University of Hartford application before interview registration

The 2026–27 schedule offers both on-campus interview dates and a virtual interview date

Upload the required resume and recommendation through the UHart Applicant Portal

No prescreen is required; the interview is the primary program-admission component

Scholarship Info

Performing Arts Scholarship

All accepted students automatically considered based on interview; awards range up to full tuition

Renewable annually with minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA (or 3.0 in major) and full-time status

No separate scholarship application required

Networks Scholarship

NETworks Scholarship: Available to students majoring in technical theatre and stage management. First preference given to students underrepresented in these career fields. Awarded to up to four students per year. Funded by NETworks Presentations LLC, an industry leader in producing and managing domestic and international touring Broadway productions.
