•Professional training in scenic, costume, lighting, and sound design
•Work on traveling road shows, guest productions, and college and community productions
•Venues include the APG Federal Credit Union Arena, The Amoss Center, The Chesapeake Theatre, and the Chesapeake Center thrust stage
Performance & Productions
•Phoenix Festival Theatre, the resident summer theatre company at Harford
•LIVE! at Harford performing arts series
•Production participation is a required part of the educational program, including weekends and evenings
Degree Flexibility
•Graduates transfer to Towson University and University of Maryland campuses in Baltimore County and College Park
•Upper-level theatre electives include Scene Design, Costuming, Stagecraft II, Makeup for the Performer, Play Directing, and Cooperative Education
•Introduction to CADD coursework included in the degree
