•Bullet: Four-semester Ear-Training/Harmony sequence plus Keyboard I-IV builds core musicianship, followed by Form and Analysis and Computers and Music
•Bullet: Three-course History of Music sequence (I, II, III) plus a required outside academic minor (18 hours, 12 upper-level) distinguish this BA from the Music Business and BS tracks
•Bullet: Principal performance study (applied lessons) and six ensemble credits are required across the degree, alongside a piano proficiency requirement

•Bullet: School of Music has been continuously accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music since 1930 — the first music program in Texas to earn NASM accreditation
