•Theatre majors can act, direct, design, write, and manage productions in a liberal arts context.
Performance & Productions
•Hanover lists four to five main-stage productions each season plus student-written and student-directed work.
•Non-majors receive class credit and are encouraged to participate in productions.
Professional Development
•Theatre students can pursue internships and assisted summer-work activities; recent placements include Berkshire Theatre Festival, Seattle Children's Theatre, and Actors Theatre of Louisville.
•Graduates have continued into theatres and graduate programs including Roundabout Theatre Company, American Repertory Theatre, Yale, and Tisch School of the Arts.
Study Abroad
•Students can pursue spring travel courses such as Shakespeare in England plus semester study abroad options.
