Training
•The Dance Program prepares students for advanced work in dance, movement, and the body.
•Students often combine dance and movement studies with video, anthropology, psychology, kinesiology, theater, education, religion, urban design, visual arts, film, community practice, or social justice.
Performance & Productions
•Division III students complete rigorous year-long independent projects that may include performance, installation, scholarly research, or interdisciplinary work.
Facilities
•Dance facilities include two sprung-floor studios, one convertible performance space, sound and video equipment, and a dance video and film collection.
Degree Flexibility
•Hampshire is a member of Five College Dance, giving students access to inter-campus classes, performances, and events.
