Audition Process

•No audition required for BA Dance admission

•Corcoran Scholars scholarship applicants complete the Dance Audition Application in SlideRoom by January 5, 2027

•In-person auditions are held during Corcoran Scholars Audition Day on January 23, 2027

•Virtual auditions are submitted through SlideRoom by January 5, 2027

•Virtual scholarship applicants are encouraged to visit campus and participate in a technique class when possible

•Theatre & Dance contacts applicants after SlideRoom submission to confirm date, time, and details

Post-Enrollment

•All GW students may take dance classes and audition for school productions

Scholarship Info

Corcoran Scholars

•Awards are granted to first-year undergraduate applicants through an audition or portfolio review during the GW application process

•Awards are renewable for up to 12 consecutive semesters with continuous full-time study and good academic standing

•Priority consideration is given to Dance majors; intended minors are also eligible
