ELIGIBILITY

•Typical offer: CCC at A-level or equivalent

•GCSE English Language grade 4 (C) minimum

•IELTS 6.5 overall for international students

•Exceptional talent may override academic requirements

What's The Process

AUDITION PROCESS

•Submit three video self-tapes after UCAS application

•One legit song, one contemporary song, and five dance/movement exercises

•Full guidance and dance exercise link sent via email upon application

•By invitation only following successful first-round videos

•Workshop-based format with acting, singing, and dance sessions

•Prepare one speech from a published play (post-1960)

•Select one additional song from a GSA-provided list

•Philadelphia: January 10-11, 2026 (first-round videos due December 15)

•Shanghai: April 17-18, 2026

•Must complete first-round video before attending international auditions

Scholarship Info

GSA SCHOLARSHIPS

•Shining Star Scholarship: £3,000/year for 3 years — for underrepresented students

•ATG Scholarship: £5,000 — funded by Ambassador Theatre Group, assessed on merit and need

•South Square Trust Scholarship: £5,000/year (may extend to 2nd year) — assessed on merit and need

•Jill James Bursary: £2,000/year for 3 years — for students from areas of high deprivation

•Doris & Hilda Farmer Charitable Trust Bursary: £1,000

•Mary Woolfe Charitable Trust Bursary: £1,000

UNIVERSITY SUPPORT

•University of Surrey Bursary: up to £3,000 for eligible students
