Training
•The 20-credit Musical Theatre minor combines acting, voice and dance in a fixed interdisciplinary sequence.
•Dance study includes Ballet I, Tap I and Jazz I; two semesters of applied voice are paired with Musical Theatre Performance I and its performance lab.
Performance & Productions
•Students select either Acting I with its lab or Introduction to Acting, adding character and scene work to the music-and-movement sequence.
Academic Foundation
•A four-credit American Musical Theatre History and Literature course connects studio training with the development of the form and its repertoire.
Degree Flexibility
•Greensboro publishes the minor as an option alongside BA, BBA, BFA, BME or BS study.
