•Bullet: 30–31 unit certificate combining dance pedagogy, lesson planning, choreography, movement development from birth through age 12, First Aid plus Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries or Human Anatomy, and technique study
•Bullet: Prepares students to teach technical dance skills with correct alignment and coordination and to design programs for different ages and settings
•Bullet: The Certificate is granted for completing the required major units only, with no general education component, and at least 6 semester units completed at GCC — a faster path to a workforce credential than the AS degree
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Includes a supervised Dance Internship plus Dance Production coursework (faculty repertoire or student choreography)
